Les corps se voilent et se dévoilent, se parent de couleurs, de formes et plongent dans des paysages imaginaires pour se réinventer. Un corps parchemin, un corps comme surface photosensible, un corps de tous les possible. Un rêve en couleur, entre mythe et réalité. Dans la série Black Light je suis partie à la recherche d’un monde nouveau, où les corps pouvaient se métamorphoser grâce à un jeu d’ombres et lumière. Réinventer le corps et le rapport à l’autre par une projection réelle et mentale, de couleurs, de formes, de sensations et de rêves. Les mondes qu'il porte font surface et viennent se poser à même la peau. La multitude des personnages qu'il pourrait être, qu’il rêve d’être parfois, se manifeste en couleurs. Plonger ces êtres dans le noir et y ajouter une source de lumière, projetant sur eux l’espace nécessaire pour un nouvel univers, où l’obscurité apporte la liberté et la sécurité pour se réinventer tandis que la lumière vient révéler par fragments ces autres identités potentielles. Repenser ainsi son rapport à l’autre et mettre à nu ce que le corps, tout comme la photographie, portent en lui de mémoire et de futur.
Bodies are veiled and revealed, adorned with colors and shapes, and plunge into imaginary landscapes to reinvent themselves. A parchment body, a body as a photosensitive surface, a body of all possibilities. A dream in color, between myth and reality. In the Black Light series, I set off in search of a new world, where bodies could metamorphose thanks to a play of light and shadow. Reinventing the body and the relationship with others through a real and mental projection of colors, shapes, sensations and dreams. The worlds they carry surface and come to rest against his skin. The multitude of characters he could be, that he sometimes dreams of being, manifest themselves in color. Plunging these beings into darkness and adding a source of light, projecting onto them the space needed for a new universe, where darkness provides the freedom and security to reinvent oneself, while light reveals these other potential identities in fragments. In this way, we rethink our relationship with others, exposing what the body, like photography, holds in terms of memory and future.
